I'll stamp all over 'serious boxer' Paul - Anthony Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

The British boxer is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight round match which will be shown in real-time on Netflix.

Briton Joshua said he will "overwhelm entirely" Jake Paul and "defeat" his opponent as the pair confronted each other to promote the upcoming boxing match.

Ex two time world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, on paper, a mammoth uneven pairing - at Miami's venue on 19 December.

Boxer's Mentality

"I plan to break his face and hurt his body. I aim to demonstrate I'm superior," the British boxer, 35, said.

"I will dominate him completely. That's a fighter's mentality.

"I intend to really want to hurt him. That's what I want to do."

Respectful Interaction

Despite those words, a calm Joshua and internet personality Paul - usually famous for his theatrics - were respectful and remained civil with each other.

Paul rather targeted ex Joshua opponent the Cameroonian fighter and called him "a joke" after Ngannou turned down a fight offer.

Taking Aim at Tyson Fury

Anthony Joshua, meanwhile, targeted British opponent Tyson Fury - and declined a £1m bet 'Tyson Fury' says he will place on a Paul win.

"[Paul] outshines Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer commented.

"I give him credit for that."

Legitimate Fighter

In spite of saying he intends to hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua refused to talk badly about his opponent's pugilistic talent.

"Jake Paul is a credible opponent," he stated.

Paul's Background

Jake Paul - who originally gained popularity on the Disney Channel - has primarily boxed mixed martial artists or past-their-prime fighters since becoming pro.

He was defeated by British fighter Fury in last year.

Commercial Success

However, the inexperienced fighter remains one of the sport's greatest financial successes, frequently receiving huge paydays.

Forecast and Confidence

The 28 year old predicted a KO victory in rounds four or five and stated he would stop the long-awaited match between Joshua and Fury, which is apparently being planned for two years from now.

"It's going to be myself against Tyson Fury next year," Jake Paul declared.

Size Difference

As Joshua and Paul engaged in the usual stare-down, with their size difference on show, it drove home just how surprising this entire matchup is - and how astonishing it is that the fight is truly happening.
